? Silicone oil is very common. A watch is a delicate and sensitive piece of equipment that can be ruined by just a small amount of moisture getting into the mechanism. When your watch requires lubrication, you must be very careful what you add to it. A good choice is silicone oil, because it has a high melting point and won't run into the fine gears of your watch. You can introduce the silicone oil into your watch by applying it to the gasket, which keeps the watch tightly sealed. Let's us see how to add silicone Oil.

? Pull the gasket out from around the inside of the watch case. You can use tweezers if you cannot get a good grip on the gasket. Place the watch in a case vise, with the dial facing down. The control knob on the side should not be resting on the frame of the vise. Screw the caseback on the watch with your fingers. Tighten with the caseback wrench once you can't move it further with your fingers.
