1. Description of Platinum Silicones Material For Polyester Resin Molds
Platinum Silicones Material For Polyester Resin Molds is a two part silicone rubber with mixing ration of 1:1; As with a low viscosity, high strength and excellent duplication times, it's widely used for concrete casting and cement products casting, making silicone molds for artificial stone, concrete statue molds, garden statue molds, stone molds, cement crafts, GRC/GPR decorations, food related molds etc.
The quality of our Platinum Silicones Material For Polyester Resin Molds is similar with Dow corning silicone, Wacker silicone, smooth on silicone, but the prices of our silicone rubber is more competitive than them.

3. How to making Polyester Resin Molds with Platinum Silicones Material ?
Mixing:
Select a mixing container 4-5 times larger than the total volume of material to be mixed.
Weigh out the selected silicon rubber, part A and Part B. Stir for several minutes scraping the sides and bottom of the container carefully to produce a homogeneous mixture.
When using power mixers, avoid excessive speeds, which could entrap large amounts of air or cause overheating of the mixture, resulting in shorter pot life.
The air entrapped in the mixing step needs to be removed to eliminate voids in the cure product. This can be done by exposing the material to a vacuum of 10-20 mbar. The material will expand, crest and reduce to about the original level. Degassing is usually complete about two minutes after frothing ceases.

SHELF LIFE: Twelve (12) months from date of shipment when stored at 24°C in original unopened packages.
